Our Programs
We strive to offer the most effective solutions we can to the surrounding communities needs by developing programs that provide educational and fun experiences for the young and provide food, clothing and household items to those in need.
After School Program
Several afternoons per week The Pink House provides a safe and engaging After School Program for our surrounding communities. This offers time for our kids to get Homework Assistance, participate in planned activities or just relax and unwind, Mentoring our youth promotes a positive environment to learn & grow. To assist our busy community parents every After School Program provides a Hot Meal.
Summer Camp Program
The Pink House Summer Camp Program takes place at The Pink House each July and is a week of fun, exercise and learning. It offers, educational sessions, some outings, a nourishing lunch and lots of planned activities. Our Summer Camp Kids participate in community service activities, learn gardening and composting skills, play outdoor games and always have a great time.
Hot Meals for the Kids
At The Pink House we understand that parents sometimes need a break from all the stress of the busy day so we offer a home-cooked meal for our After School Kids. Several evenings per week, when the activities and free time of our After School Program come to a close, we have a prayer, sanitize all the little hands and sit down together to an evening meal cooked right in The Pink House kitchen.
Neighborhood Food Distribution
The Pink House gratefully partners with Grace City Church to host a Neighborhood Food Distribution. Once a month we get a big truck full of everything from fresh produce and frozen meats to bakery and pantry goods to fill the free bags of groceries for our community neighbors. Check our FaceBook page to find out when the next food distribution date will be.
Sharing Community Resources
One of our most important functions over the decades has been our effort to support our neighbors in need. The Pink House carport is a free resource where you can find a refrigerator and pantry stocked with food items and prepared meals. There are shelves of books, clothes and household items donated primarily by others in the community. We understand that everyone needs a helping hand from time to time.
Hosting Partnered Events
We are proud to work with several partners within our community
to bring the best experience to our children and neighbors. We appreciate our partner's dedication to The Pink House.
